Heidi Barnes was raised in Maryland, Hawaii, New York and Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising, she ran her family’s grand manor Inn (formerly her summer home) on the rocky coast of Maine, which inspired The Bellman Series - The Bellman and The Bellman’s Secret. She subsequently moved abroad for twenty-five years with her international hotelier husband and raised their three children in Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, Dubai and Canada. Heidi is a Real Estate Agent and Property Manager based in Los Angeles, California. 

 

She has also worked at The Four Seasons Hotel in Houston, KSEV News Talk radio in Houston, and Tilley, Marlieb & Allen in New York City - the former in-house advertising agency for Penthouse. Her father was a career naval officer and commercial developer and her mother was a real estate broker and interior designer. 

 

Heidi enjoys outdoor activities, loves animals, and is a devoted mother of three. Writing and Real Estate have long been her passion.
